OFFICIAL RELEASE — SANDRO ZONE
Sandro Zone is a communicator, independent electronic music researcher and creator of the E-Music Zone (E-MZ) project, an initiative dedicated to promoting, documenting and preserving underground electronic music culture.
His connection with electronic music began in 1996 through friends and birthday parties, a period that introduced him to new sounds, artists and musical styles that would shape his lifelong passion for electronic culture. What started as curiosity quickly evolved into a deep and lasting involvement with the electronic music scene.
Over the years, Sandro actively sought out and attended cultural events connected to electronic music. His journey took him through important moments of São Paulo's club culture, including events such as Mundo Mix and renowned venues such as Help, Carrão and Sound Factory Penha. As the scene evolved, he expanded his experiences by attending rave events across the countryside of São Paulo, exploring different movements, styles and generations of underground electronic culture. Later, he also became a regular attendee of daytime electronic gatherings and music-focused events hosted in bars and alternative venues.
Graduated in Advertising, Sandro found in communication a meaningful way to contribute to the electronic music community. This vision led to the creation of E-Music Zone (E-MZ), a project developed to promote events, DJs, music releases, news and content related to the electronic music universe.
For many years, E-Music Zone operated as an independent platform dedicated to supporting and preserving electronic music culture. Through articles, event coverage and informational content, the project followed artists, clubs, festivals and movements that helped shape both the Brazilian and international underground electronic music scenes. The platform became recognized for its commitment to sharing information and strengthening the connection between audiences and electronic music culture.
Musically, his main influences range from House Music, Progressive Trance and Drum and Bass to artists and projects such as Paul van Dyk, Goldie, Roni Size, The Prodigy, The Chemical Brothers, Underworld, Orbital, Moloko and Massive Attack. These influences helped shape his appreciation for the diversity, creativity and cultural impact of electronic music.
Having witnessed the evolution of the scene over nearly three decades, Sandro Zone believes electronic music culture has undergone significant changes compared to the peak years of the underground movement. Even so, he continues to maintain a strong passion for electronic music, dancefloor culture and the friendships built throughout this journey.
Today, Sandro Zone returns to FuseWebRadio as a contributor and host of the Drops E-Music Zone segment. His connection with the project dates back to the station's original phase, when he occasionally contributed ideas, recommendations and content related to electronic music culture. Years later, during the E-Music Station period, a closer collaboration was considered, although professional commitments prevented a more active involvement at the time.
Now, as FuseWebRadio enters a new chapter, Sandro officially renews his participation through communication, cultural research and content dedicated to the underground electronic music community.
His return represents the continuation of a journey built on a genuine passion for electronic music, a commitment to underground culture and a desire to preserve the memory and legacy of a scene that has inspired generations.
